Winnys Meals is a Nigerian fast food restaurant, with outlets in Badagry, Festac, Abuja Asokoro, internaltional airport. Our services include Eat-In, Outdoor catering, Bulk Soups order, Food delivery.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Kitchen Supervisor / Quality Control

Location: Asokoro / Airport Roads Axis, Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Managing and co-ordination of kitchen staff and activities.
  • Making sure the kitchen is safe and in hygienic conditions at all times.
  • Organizing the inventory, storage, and distribution of foodstuffs and supplies.
  • Helping to plan menus, apportion ingredients and use food surpluses.
  • Control portion costs by working out the number of portions per food batch.
  • Supervises cooks, tastes, smells, and observes food to ensure conformance with recipes and appearance standards.

Requirements

  • Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree / HND / OND / NCE qualification with 3 – 5 years work experience
  • Must have a commercial cooking experience preferably for a restaurant or hotel, a vocational training in catering will be an added advantage although not compulsory.
  • Management or supervisory experience will be an added advantage
  • Ability to multitask
  • Basic literacy skills

Job Title: Cook

Location: Yaba, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Ensure ingredients and final products are fresh
  • Follow recipes, including measuring, weighing and mixing ingredients
  • Bake, grill, steam and boil meats, vegetables, fish, poultry and other foods
  • Present, garnish and arrange final dishes
  • Occasionally serve food
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area, including handling utensils, equipment and dishes
  • Handle and store ingredients and food
  • Maintain food safety and sanitation standards

Requirements

  • Candidates should possess an OND or SSCE qualification with at least 2 years work experience.
  • Knowledge of safety procedures, including safe temperatures at which ingredients must be kept and to which food must be prepared to avoid foodborne illness
  • Ability to work as part of a team, collaborating on complex dishes
  • Interpersonal skills to interact with a variety of other people, such as waitstaff, dishwashers, management and sometimes customers
  • Calm demeanor to work in a high-stress, fast-paced environment
  • Accountability for the dishes they prepare measuring up to the expectations of management and customers alike
  • Comprehension and organization to follow direct orders and recipes and to correctly prepare dishes to the standards of the restaurant
  • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination to handle tools, such as knife techniques for chopping, slicing, cutting and dicing
  • Ability to stand in one place for hours at a time, handle extreme heat and work shifts

Salary

Job Title: Dispatch Rider

Location: Akoka, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Keeps customers informed by forwarding notice of item availability and answering questions.
  • Responsible for contacting customers to verify delivery address.
  • Responsible for picking up items and delivering them safely to customers on time.

Requirements

  • Candidates should possess an SSCE certificate with a minimum of 2 years experience.
  • Proven experience as a dispatch rider or relevant position.
  • Familiarity with relevant routes.
  • Must enjoy motorcycling and be a skilled rider.
  • Ability to communicate, read and write.
  • Organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Have good numeracy skills for delivery and expenses records.
  • Polite and able to get along with people.

 

 

 

Job Title: Kitchen Assistant
