UNITeS Cisco Networking Academy was established in 2007 and it launched the School Based Project for secondary schools in 2009 with the objective of developing Nigerian youths in the use, support and maintenance of Information Technology. We are recruiting to fill the positions below:

Job Title: Marketing Officer 

Location: Lagos

 Job Description

  • Develop processes to maximize integration efficiency, provide excellent clients’ support and escalate feedback to necessary stakeholders on a monthly basis
  • Generate ideas and strategies to increase ongoing projects on a monthly basis
  • Identify and attend key conferences/meetings where potential partners and important contacts are present to establish contracts/business relationships (both public and private sector) when necessary.
  • Develop, negotiate and close strategic agreement with major external partners.
  • Assist with the development of strategies and advise on improvement of specific interest, also, work with your team on solution definition, knowledge transfer, change management and process re-engineering.
  • Work cross functionally with other internal departments and team members to ensure partners’ needs are met.
  • Work with the client to understand business objectives/workflow in order to achieve objectives.
  • Properly document all communication with partners and share internal reports with GM weekly.
  • Communicate project feedback to the team.
  • Generating your own leads from a number of sources (i.e. internet, networking, referrals, trade fairs etc).
  • Analysis on partnerships KPIs.

 Job Title: Project Supports Officer

Job Description

  • Every project is different and therefore your duties will change accordingly. However, you will be responsible for monitoring project schedules and budgets, preparing progress reports, and liaising with key stakeholders.
  • Determine the resources (time, money, equipment, etc.) required to complete the project
  • Event management – organization of biannual Executive Management, Team meetings, quarterly meetings, volunteering events, off-sites, dinners, etc.
  • Play a key role in creating and building presentations for the wider team including PowerPoint slides, preparing and integrating financial data into presentations, incorporating multi-media materials (video, music, web content etc).
  • Build relationships within and outside the company (company’s clients, contractors and school administrators.
  • Expense management duties, which include submitting budget reports in a timely manner
  • Aggressively improve the company`s online presence through all available options
  • Stimulate internal and external awareness of the happenings within the company.

  • Facilitate better coverage of all events and activities, both online and on traditional media.
  • Conducting market research, for example using customer questionnaires, surveys and focus groups.

Job Title: HR Officer

 Location: Lagos 

Job Description

  • Preparing and continuously updating the staff database.
  • Formulation and implementation of HR policies within the organization.
  • Orientation and onboarding of new employees.
  • Conducting confirmation appraisal for new staff due for confirmation.
  • Handle HMO and pension of all employees from registration.
  • Setting of KPI (key Performance Indicators) for employees and measuring their performance based on that.
  • Oversee staff leave by drawing up a yearly leave plan and monitoring it.
  • Handling of all staff related issues, complaint, queries and general welfare.
  • Manage relationship between the Company’s and its Consultants.
  • Develops Job description for employees.
  • Performance management of employees by tracking staff performance and conducting appraisal for them mid-year and end of the year.
  • Prepares payroll and pension for all the employees.
  • Organizes trainings for both head office staff and field workers.
  • Talent hunt and recruitment of new employee starting from screening to final employment.

Job Title: Computer Science Teacher

 Location: Ogun

  • A teacher with NCE or OND, HND or B.Sc, is urgently needed for a teaching job at UNITeS Cisco in our Mowe / Ibafo Location
  • The instructor will be involved in teaching basic IT Essential courses in the assigned school.

 Job Title: Intern – Technical Support

 Location: Lagos

 Responsibilities

  • Assist the Technical officer in the day to day running of the officer.
  • Carry out computer repairs.
  • Ensure that all computers in the office are in good conditions.
  • Assist the office location with computer troubleshooting and repairs.
  • Ensure that the office environment is secured, and all technical issues addressed.

Requirements

  • OND or NCE in any field
  • Must have a technical background and be able to troubleshoot a computer.
  • Should have a good knowledge of computer hard and able to assemble a computer.
  • Candidate must reside close to Surulere or Orile.

 

 

 Job Title: Project Lead

Location: Lagos
Job Description

  • Supervise the team in launching social media campaign; Facebook, twitter, instagram, etc. for all special projects.
  • Facilitate better coverage of all Special project events and activities, both online and on traditional media with the help of the Communication and Brand Strategist.
  • Work closely with the Partnership/Program Coordinator to develop, negotiate and close strategic agreement with major external partners for the Foundation.
  • Work closely with the necessary personnel to analyse KPIs for partnerships.
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress and give monthly feedback on the progress of each project.
  • Conducting quarterly project review and creating detailed reports for project team.
  • Coordinate and complete projects on time within budget and within scope. Set deadlines, assign responsibilities and monitor and summarize progress of project and prepare reports for upper management regarding status of project.
  • You are expected to provide overall leadership for all the Organization projects.

  • Train students using CISCO special curriculum

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year work experience in a similar position
