Job Title: Planning Engineer
Location: All Project Sites
Department: PMO
Summary
- Support Project Managers in the realization of project time objectives by developing project schedule and other supporting plans.
- Tracks project scope, time, procurement and risks as they affect project timely delivery.
- He/ She prepares daily, weekly or monthly reports as may be required to support the project.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Breakdown deliverables into executable tasks in line with standard construction practice, within the available technology in the built industry in Nigeria and Construction Kaiser
- Sequence the activities in the order they will be carried out in collaboration with execution Team, after technical considerations, external dependencies, resources availability and most importantly project time objective
- Estimate durations for each of the tasks based on the task size/complexity, resources carrying out the task while focusing on the agreed timeline with Client.
- Estimate overall project duration to meet project time objective. It is important to allow reasonable time for unknowns (buffer or contingencies).
- Develop Programs of Work suitable to Clients/Consultants/Site Leadership needs, which include High Level Program Of works, Milestone Schedule, Contractual Program of Work, Construction (In-house) Program of work, Catch up Programs among others.
- Prepare project completion report
- Document – via Audio, Video or Written formats, the lessons learned, including negative lessons never to repeat and good practices to promote at the end of a phase, milestone or project
- Any other duties as assigned by the line manager (Manager, PMO)
- Track and report project activities on a daily, weekly, monthly or periodic basis as may be required by the Client/Consultants, CKL Management, PMO and Project Managers
- Prepare minutes of meetings and share within 48hours of the meeting
- Update the procurement plan on a weekly basis
- Update the risk register on a monthly basis
- Collect, study and understand the project deliverables from the recent scope documents – Architecture, Structures, Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing drawings of assigned project.
Educational Qualifications and Requirements
- Candidates should possess a B.Eng / B.Tech / HND in Civil Engineering, Building Technology and other related courses
- Minimum of 4 years cognate working experience
- Relevant professional qualification will be an added advantage

Job Title: Logistic Officer
Location: All Project Sites
Department: Procurement
Summary
- The Logistics Officer is responsible for providing the movement, distribution and storage of supplies and materials.
- Also, he is involved in monitoring inventory, transportation and warehousing activities to maintain and expedite the supply chain.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Determine vehicle routes from a different location to the project site for the workforce and effective transit of materials.
- Prepare plans for mobilization and demobilization of the project site
- Plan and deliver construction waste removal process in accordance with company procedures
- Provide ground Logistics activities coordination between the project, procurement team and substantive units.
- Plan, organize, supervise and participate in daily Logistics operations and activities, including the receipt, documentation, storage, safety and distribution of materials and maintenance of inventories.
- Responsible for the management of the company’s fixed assets for assigned projects.
- Monitor fixed asset planned preventive maintenance schedules.
- Perform periodic (Monthly) physical inventory and reconciles with inventory records
- Assist in determining proper inventory levels, ordering points, and ordering quantities
- Organize warehouse, label goods, machinery, tools, plot routes and process loading, offloading and shipments.
- Report damaged or missing inventory to the Procurement Manager
- Support CKL HSE rules and regulations, by ensuring the safety of all materials, goods and ensuring the warehouses are always in a good condition
- Work with other departments to incorporate logistics with company procedures and operations.
- Coordinate with other staff to ensure QMS Warehouse Quality Objectives are met.
- Flexible enough to respond to short notice changes in the job description, in order to meet the changing requirements of the project.
- Update and evaluate metrics to assess performance and implement enhancements.
- Ensure all operations adhere to laws, guidelines, and ISO requirements.
Educational Qualifications and Requirements
- Candidates should possess an Associate or Degree / HND in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering or relevant field.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role.
- Membership of CIPS, CISCM or CIWMM will be an added advantage.

Job Title: MEP Quantity Surveyor
Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Summary
- Manage the costs on all projects and more specifically the Mechanical & Electrical packages, identify areas of cost overruns and/or savings and minimize effect at early stage.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure operational targets are met on all MEP Works (Plumbing, HVAC and Electrical) and Pricing, Rate Buildup of Materials, Labor, Plants etc
- Check Bills of Quantities
- General contract administration
- Prepare project cash flow
- Monitor progress and maintain up-to-date project measurement
- Take off material quantities to prepare for purchase
- Submit and agree on monthly contract value of work done
- Measure and agree on sub-contractors’ payments
- Prepare, submit and agree variations
- Prepare, submit and agree project claims
- Measure and agree final account
- Develop financial plans including budgeting and forecasting for the short and long term
- Analyze the business performance, including the profitability, revenue, pricing and project cost

Job Title: Quantity Surveyor
Location: Lagos (All Project Sites)
Department: Commercial Department
Summary
>- The Quantity Surveyor shall provide commercial support to the project team, maintain commercial information, and ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform risk, value management and cost control.
- Identify, analyse, and develop responses to commercial risks.
- Ensure compliance with standard organizational practices (HSSE, QMS)
- Presents execution budget for newly awarded projects to management for approval.
- Ensure complete, accurate and timely cost and value reporting at both project and organizational.
- Ensure accurate cash flow reporting and milestone tracking takes place.
- Carry out cost management, including forecasting.
- Ensure timely submission of valuation requests and milestone payments.
- Update the monthly CVF, cost, and commercial plans, have accountability, and the project team for commercial performance and strategy.
- Ensure that commercial processes are adhered to across the business unit.
- Actively seek to improve processes and procedures.
- Have a good understanding of the processes and procedures used by any JV/Alliance that we are working within and assist in their development and improvement.
- Ensure that any central contracts entered have terms and conditions appropriate for CKL, with commercial risks identified.
