Job Description

  • We are seeking to engage a highly competent and result-oriented Content Specialist with strong personal and professional integrity to join its dynamic Marketing & Public Relations team.

Job Reponsibilities

  • Developing, writing, and editing marketing communications materials such as press releases, thought leadership, executive communications, letters, marketing flash, speeches, crisis management, and website content.
  • Editing and updating promotional material and publications (brochures, videos, social media posts etc.).
  • Working with the Social Media Lead and other Team Members to develop social media content for Nile.

Educational and Professional Qualifications

Job Title: Credit Control Officer

Location: Apapa, Lagos

The Purpose

  • We are looking for a Credit Control Officer who will be responsible for conducting regular analysis of the credit-control system and implement changes as needed to reduce bad debts.

The Job

  • Facilitate the credit approval process for all requests within the group.
  • Carry out monthly reconciliation of accounts of all credit customers.
  • Regular review of the pattern and behaviours of customer’s payment.
  • Guarantee for timely renewal and ensure close monitoring of validity period for customer Bank.
  • Carry out regular appraisal of customer’s accounts.
  • Periodic preparation of customer’s ageing analysis.
  • Monitor and track debtor position/accounts receivable balances for timely collections.

Qualifications

Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor (HVACR Systems)

Job Description

  • We are seeking to engage a highly competent and result-oriented Maintenance Supervisor (HVACR Systems) with strong personal and professional integrity to join its dynamic Real Estate & Facilities Team.

Responsibilities

  • Supervising major overhaul or installation of mechanical control systems to assure that work is carried out according to plans and specifications
  • Conducting installation, maintenance, and repairs of all HVAC/facility equipment e.g., HVAC systems
  • Reviewing plans and specifications for new construction to determine compatibility with existing equipment or acceptability of the design
  • Overseeing repair and replacement of faulty thermostats, wiring and controls, and compressors
  • Designing modifications to existing systems to achieve efficient operation
  • Supporting current improvement programs as well as implementing and driving through sustainment of any new initiatives as they relate to transformation to reliability and condition-based maintenance.
  • Assisting other Maintenance Technicians in responding to emergency service calls to keep system downtime to a minimum.
  • Ensuring compliance with appliance standards and with Occupational Health and Safety Act as well as compliance with service standards, work instructions, and customers’ requirements
  • Inspecting and measuring building to determine airflow requirements; plans and draws layout and dimensions of ductwork.
  • Scheduling preventative maintenance and air conditioning installation assignments; examining installed air-conditioning systems to verify that system is functioning.
  • Conducting a quality check of work in progress or upon completion to assure acceptability

Educational and Professional Qualifications

  • Minimum of a B.Sc./ HND in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
  • Seven (7) years of industrial maintenance and repair experience, three (3) years of which are in a lead role.
  • Considerable knowledge of the practices, methods, materials, and equipment used in the maintenance and repair of HVAC equipment
  • In-depth ability to read/interpret and provide work instruction based on wiring schematics including HVAC equipment control drawings.
  • Excellent management and supervisory skills.
  • Ability to diagnose equipment malfunctions and prescribe repair procedures.
  • Possess adept experience in the use of commercial natural gas, fired hydronic boilers, pumps, controls, and other ancillary equipment, chilled water HVAC systems, both constant volume, and variable volume

Job Description

  • We are seeking to engage a highly competent and result-oriented Media Officer (skilled in Photography, Videography, and Graphics design) with strong personal and professional integrity to join its dynamic Marketing & Public Relations team.

Responsibilities

  • Designing and producing brochures, annual reports, posters, research reports, stewardship reports, advertisements and programmes that embody and amplify the Nile University brand.
  • Creating images & layouts using design software.
  • Provides direction and logistics for projects including shot sheets, releases, and coordination and maintenance of images and footage.
  • Produces educational, instructional, or event-based videos as requested by the university, including defining objective shooting in studio and remote locations, and conversion of existing video formats for video editing.
  • Photograph our products in-studio and on location for e-commerce and editorial use
  • Retouch digital imagery for use across e-commerce, social media, and marketing campaigns.
  • Plan, shoot, edit, and produce photoshoots for use in institution-wide communication, websites, large “impact” pieces for campaigns, and social media.

Educational and Professional Qualifications

  • Relevant University Degree or its equivalent
  • Minimum of three (3) years’ hands-on experience in photography, videography, and graphics.
  • Strong working knowledge of graphic design, and photo and video-editing software.
  • A strong commercial graphic design, photography, and videography portfolio that demonstrates expertise in applied techniques and a working knowledge of digital photography, lighting, composition, colour quality, videotape production, as well as a thorough knowledge of audio, video, and multimedia hardware software, is required.
